John Miller Sr.- Managing Director

Under John's leadership MTR has evolved from it's roots in sports car racing with Porsche to open wheel competition with Pro Formula Mazda and Indy Car. MTR has enjoyed track records and championships at each level of competition. MTR's rich tradition of winning includes three sports car championships, four Formula Mazda championships, and two top 15 finishes at the Indy 500.

Lawrence Farmer - Ultima GTR Technical Director

Mr. Farmer, a veteran McLaren and March Car fabricator leads the
development of the MTR Porsche powered Ultima's. Lawrence is as comfortable behind the wheel as he is engineering this exciting platform. A skilled competitor in sportscar racing with a rich winning tradition at highest levels of our sport. This ex-rally competitor has found his stride competing in IMSA and SCCA with Miller Team Racing's Ultima GTR.

Ed Ducey - Operations Manager

After 25 years of campaigning various Porsches, Sports 2000 and Formula cars, Ed has found his niche in race preparation; making sure a reliable race car is at the track and ready for a 'hot-shoe'. Ed is happiest behind the scenes making sure all the 'nuts & bolts' are in place.

Derek Grenon - GTR Tech

This team member has shown himself to be integral to our success. Derek combines real world racing experience with tenacity for perfection. Derek, his wife Mandi and daughter Amanda make their home in Chowchilla, CA.

Greg Tarzian - Designer & GTR Fabricator

Greg is a mechanical engineering student who has designed and fabricated several custom additions to the Ultima, making the platform stronger and more versatile. Greg brings to the team fifteen plus years of machining experience, from experimental prototype to all around, general machining.
Greg balances the demands of school, family, and race design to deliver an outstanding performance. Greg makes his home in Gilroy CA. with his wife Katy and their young son.

Rich Stevens - Driver Coach

MTR is proud to have Rich as a coaching resource. As a former champion of the Star Formula Mazda Series he can speak from experience when coaching a team driver. Rich makes his home in Los Gatos, CA. with his wife Casey and daughters Melissa, Samantha, and Sidney. 

Johnny Miller Jr. - Driver Coach

With his aggressive driving style and excellent car control Johnny was able to capture championships and set track records in a Formula Mazda. MTR customers will benefit from his ability to help others understand the techniques of a successful race driver.
